Our Banners and Benches Program is a meaningful way to contribute to the beauty and vibrancy of downtown Ferndale while also providing a platform for recognition, promotion, or remembrance.

Both programs are available through the Ferndale Downtown Association, and your participation helps us continue our mission to enhance and strengthen our historic downtown.

Benches

The lovely green benches adorning our sidewalks add both charm and functionality to our downtown, creating inviting spaces for visitors to relax and enjoy the area. As part of an ongoing project, some of these benches were handcrafted by a local welder, ensuring quality and durability. Each bench costs $1,300, with the option to add a personalized plaque for an additional fee—perfect for honoring a loved one, family, or individual.

Banners

The beautiful banners adorning the light poles throughout downtown Ferndale are part of a project launched by the Ferndale Downtown Association years ago. Designed by one of our talented past board members, these banners add color and character to our historic district while celebrating community pride.

Each banner includes a sponsor section at the bottom, which remains in place for two years. Sponsorships are open to businesses, families, and community members, with a cost of $300 per banner. Businesses also have the opportunity to feature their logo on the sponsor section, offering great visibility while supporting the vibrancy of downtown.
