Banners and Benches enhance the downtown area as well as serving to advertise, promote, or remember. Both can be purchased through the FDA.
Benches
Benches are a great way to enhance the look and feel of the downtown area. The benches are an ongoing project. They are crafted by a local welder and cost $1300. Plaques are available for an additional fee to honor or family or individual.
Banners
The banners that you will find on the light poles downtown were a project started by the FDA 4 years ago. The design was created by one of our board members. Ideation, a local sign company, works with us to create the banner and the sponsor portion of located on the bottom of the banner. The sponsor portion of the banner stays up for 2 years. The cost to sponsor a banner is $300. Sponsors can be community members, families, or a business. The sponsor portion includes space for a business logo.
