Grant Information

Back in 2022, the City of Ferndale agreed to fund the Downtown Ferndale Business Revitalization Grant program through the Ferndale Downtown Association.  This opportunity was made possible through federally distributed ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds.  $400,000 was available to grant for both existing and incoming businesses that were impacted or delayed by Covid-19.  In addition, $50,000 was made available for the Downtown Improvement Fund for physical and aesthetic improvements to the Downtown core.

Grant funds are still available!

The Ferndale Downtown Association was able to distribute a good portion of the funds to many local Downtown businesses and we can already see the impact this has had and there is so much more in the works!  There are funds remaining and so we are going to open the 2nd round of the program and will be taking applications for the month of April 2023.
