The Ferndale Downtown Association (FDA) is a dynamic group of businesses and community members dedicated to preserving, enhancing, and promoting our historic downtown. Together, we strive to create a thriving business environment, foster a strong sense of community, and make downtown a place people are proud of and love to spend time in. New members are always welcome!
You don’t have to be located downtown or even own a business to be a member! We invite individuals, organizations, and businesses from all over Ferndale to join us in supporting a strong and vibrant downtown. A healthy, thriving downtown benefits the entire city—it creates jobs, attracts visitors, boosts local businesses, and fosters a sense of identity and pride that extends beyond Main Street. Our efforts are guided by four key committees, each playing a vital role in shaping the future of downtown Ferndale:
- Design Committee – Focuses on preserving and enhancing the visual appeal of downtown through beautification projects, historic preservation, and improvements that make our community more inviting.
- Economic Vitality Committee – Works to strengthen the downtown business environment by supporting local entrepreneurs, attracting new businesses, and creating opportunities for economic growth.
- Promotion Committee – Drives engagement by organizing events, marketing campaigns, and initiatives that highlight downtown Ferndale as a vibrant destination for residents and visitors alike.
- Organization Committee – Ensures the FDA operates effectively by building partnerships, engaging volunteers, and securing the resources needed to sustain and grow our impact.
