Ferndale Downtown hosts Ferndale’s City-wide Clean-up Day in May. Volunteers come to clean up downtown by picking up litter, sweeping sidewalks and weeding public areas. There are huge recycling bins for metals, appliances, electronics, large items and yard debris. A paper shredder is on site, donations are asked for to offset the cost of it.
